Why “just wing it” stops working when you travel solo
Travel already asks a lot of you — schedules, connections, kids, and unfamiliar pharmacies. When respiratory illness shows up far from home, the stress is not only physical. It is the scramble to find what you need, in a place you do not know, while everyone is looking to you for answers.
This landing kit is built around a simple idea: pack the decision-making ahead of time. You are not hoping you will remember everything at the drugstore. You are opening one kit that already thought it through.

I brought a RiskWise Health Kit on a recent international trip with my family, and I'm really glad I did.
What I liked most is that it has everything in one place. It's not just basic supplies—it actually helps you both prevent getting sick and figure out what's going on if someone starts feeling off. Having masks, sanitizer, and rapid tests all together made things a lot less stressful.
Traveling with kids especially, you never know what might come up. Normally that would mean hunting down a pharmacy in a place you don't know, possibly dealing with a language barrier. With this kit, we didn't have to worry about that at all—we already had what we needed.
Honestly, it just gave me peace of mind. Being in another country is exciting, but also unpredictable, and this made me feel a lot more prepared.
I'd definitely recommend it, especially for families or anyone doing international travel. It's one of those things you hope you don't need, but you're really glad to have if you do.

The family health kit from Risk Wise Supplies is a well-thought-out, practical resource for emergency preparedness. It includes a comprehensive range of medical essentials organized in a way that's easy to access during stressful situations. The quality of the supplies feels reliable, which made it a reassuring addition to our travel plan. Extra bonus is that it's from a female Veteran-owned company.

The kit arrived in a professional well designed sealed package, it arrive in a timely manner and as described.
The kit described its contents on the outer package with a easy to see and find description.
When I left for my trip to Virginia, I felt that I was well prepared for the Covid/flu/cold season.
As a single individual I feel more secure knowing this package is close by and in my cabinet.
I feel if I were to become sick, it is right there and I can go outside with more security, feeling I am less likely to spread my germs around.
I rate this company 5 stars out of 5 with 5 being the highest possible rating and would feel very secure purchasing products from them in the future.
I wish them success and look forward to what they may present in the future!

I cannot tell you how happy I am to have the Respiratory Travel Kit on hand! I bought the kit after a couple of trips out of the country and getting very sick both times. If my husband and I had this kit on hand, it would have provided a ton of relief. Thankfully, we have not had to use it yet, but it gives me peace of mind knowing I have it with me when we are traveling!

In 2026, I have already taken three trips where my respiratory shield kit has been included in my carry on and utilized fully! Traveling in peak Q1 business travel season (and typically having minimal pack/prep time with work/life duties), I was happy to have a fully ready 'grab and go' kit, in which I thought would be for 'just in case' situations. Knowing what I had available to me, I quickly pulled my mask out after encountering countless coughers, sneezers, and blowers throughout the airport and on my flight. I would have never thought to pack these and have one on hand … if I'm honest. But I would have wished I'd prepared throughout the whole flight in regret, worrying about catching an illness when I wouldn't have time to be ill! My hands were sanitized, Clorox wipes abundantly used, and was very grateful to be seen as "quite prepared" (when literally I would not be!) Next up- trip 2. Not as many needs for preventative measures, but again I was prepared just in case! This time the Tylenol cold and flu, Kleenex, and Covid tests were extremely appreciated as I (of course) found myself sick on a trip. It was so great to already have all the things that you would need to go out and shop for … while traveling (and when you are sick, on your own, and don't want to be out buying these things, such a lifesaver).
I will admit to all that I thought I was a minimalist and being "not prepared" would be fine, but I highly encourage others to have this on hand for travel. When with other family members and especially kids, it really is a small, consistent preparation that can give peace of mind - if and when needed!
I am grateful that we are customers now and that we may be able to help others when traveling together who see our "preparedness'. It's not always timely or easy to find these things when they are needed when you are not somewhere you are familiar with or that is more remote.

I ordered 4 Family Respiratory Shield Travel Kits for family members as gifts for Christmas 2025. These kits are perfect for anyone who travels and prepares for unforeseen conditions. They are your "Go To" if illness symptoms appear. The kits put what you need together in usable quantities at your fingertips. Don't leave home without one.

The hidden cost is not the cold. It is the chaos.
You know the feeling: a scratchy throat on day two of a trip, or a fever spike when you are supposed to be “on.” For families, it multiplies — one sick child changes the whole day, and suddenly you are navigating symptoms, logistics, and worry all at once.
The real cost is not only the price of supplies. It is lost time, missed plans, and the mental load of trying to assemble a solution when you are already tired.
One kit. Sixteen pieces. Built for quick trips and light travel.
The Individual Travel Kit is designed for quick trips and light travel: protection, testing, hygiene, and symptom-care essentials packed together so you can stay ready without overpacking.

Our Story
Built on Discipline. Designed for Preparedness.
Kay Kinder founded RiskWise Health Kits, a small, veteran- and woman-owned business built on a simple truth: real preparedness starts at home. As a mother of three, Kay knows firsthand what it means to navigate illness and unexpected health moments with kids in tow.
When the right supplies weren't where she needed them or weren't packaged sensibly for real life, she started thinking differently about what a health kit could look like. That everyday experience became the foundation for RiskWise.
She brought more than a mom's instinct to the design. A U.S. Army veteran with over 20 years of experience in health protection, Kay spent her military career protecting the health and readiness of service members in complex, high-risk environments. That same mission-driven thinking now shapes every kit RiskWise builds.
Each kit reflects the RiskWise Difference—combining protection (through hygiene or education), rapid testing, and symptom relief into one thoughtfully assembled format. Whether you're managing a respiratory illness, preparing for a health transition, or simply staying a step ahead, RiskWise kits are designed to support you at every stage. The goal is straightforward: make it easier for people to feel informed, equipped, and prepared—whatever life brings.
